We’re built different.

Forged from reclaimed steel. Rooted in Wedgewood-Houston.

Set in the heart of Wedgewood-Houston, The Byrum transformed 173 shipping containers into a vibrant, sustainable community of studios, one- and two-bedroom residences minutes from Geodis Park, Soho House, and everything else that has named WeHo one of the most up-and-coming neighborhoods in the country.

Our Story

What began as 173 freight shipping containers soon became the largest container community in North America, a project rooted in adaptive reuse, intentional design, and a genuine commitment to building differently.

From the resourceful floor plan designs to the eco-friendly materials and appliances, nothing here was an accident. Every material, every decision, every detail was chosen with purpose, because building sustainably is not a feature. It is a foundation.
